Developing your personal brand

Updated: Sep 20, 2020

If you could be anybody in the world, who would you be? I'm sure you've heard this question before! As children we answer the name of our favorite superhero or a celebrity. Is it the same now for you as a grown-up?

Look into the traits and skills of that person or character. You can even use archetypes like Gods and Godesses to find the power over self within, with a natural element.

What does then this character believe in, find important and how is she or he as a person? What does he or she prefer to wear and live? What is she or he especially good at? How does this translate into who you are here and now? What is limiting you?

If you feel small or insecure in some way, what is it then you need to develop more? If you feel afraid often, you might want to find ways to increase your courage? What one thing can you do this week to try that?

Usually this scrutinizing how and who you relate to also can come with friction. If others don't accept your change and thereby the change of power in your relationship, you might have to consider being with others more, whether in private, on the job or during your favorite past-time.

So, who are you and how would you like to be? Besides celebrities and superheroes, you can also choose an animal or flower and associate freely what this represents for you. Do you posses something similar you would like to show the world more of?

Then take yourself back into your happiest moments of childhood. Who and how were you then? Can you embody this in relation to yourself, others and Earth now?

All this self creation, can be done by journaling from your own honest authenticity, or by coaching sessions alone, or in group, where examples will be shared, created and tried. Every experience will be your best reward since you dared to apply a new way of doing or being.

Don't try to be like someone else. Become the best you.

My favorite women to be like, to be inspired by, are the artist Madonna and Goddess Laka. Adding Isadora Duncan since a couple of years. And writing like Anne Frank.
