While we all have the same amount of time to relate to daily, according to our western measures, we can all experience it differently, which varies depending on both inner and outer factors. To create more time and lessen stress, please read on...
When we have our basic needs met, we don't have to chase getting them met. Most of our time is about money. Either, we try to come up with ways to make more money, or, we try to come up with more ways to spend our money. At least, if you're anything like me! I want to buy this... I want to count what I'm getting so I can plan getting this... And then, when I do, instant gratification! But, what I really did, was to create my own stress, unless my basic needs are met first. I think, it can be quite creative to ponder about what one would like to spend money on to increase our motivation. But, I've also felt a peculiar stress when I do have some, that I need to spend it.
This is where our meditation and wellness practices come in handy. This is also why practising gratitude by journaling has helped me immensely, to find contentment. It's when I've done my chores, bought my groceries and lit a candle, cosying up in my couch, I feel I get both time and space, and feel satisfied. That is when we really can feel what it is, we really would like to do. Following our feeling from this point, is how we actually move forward in life.
So, what is it that you really need? What will you feel when you get it? Why do you need it? And what are you going to do when you have created more time and space? Contact me for a coaching session in person, or on Zoom, to help you find out.
